One of the groups in Dianic lineage, by that meaning lineage from Z's coven, is the Circle of Aradia. So at least that group chose to focus on that aspect. But the article does talk about how while they use Diana as a focal point, they actually honor Goddess as a whole and recognize that She has many faces. So I'm not sure the exact mythology of Diana is important. Great, great question. I'm enjoying learning just to know a bit more.<br /><br />"Spiritual practices are inspired by the awareness that the Goddess has been known throughout time, by many names, and in numerous cultures worldwide.<br /><br />Rather than a focus on one pantheon exclusively, like facets of a diamond, Dianics honor She who has been called by Her daughters throughout time, in many places, and by many names." -Falcon River's witchvox article (link in post above)Cara Miahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02427027038601201495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4918471929956183196.post-18602006154934976772013-02-06T19:42:39.019-05:002013-02-06T19:42:39.019-05:00Good question! Obviously I'm not positive since I'm not Dianic, but I do know they acknowledge the God as the child of the Goddess, so I would guess they also acknowledge his role in bringing forth children. Some more research could probably find that out! The person whose blogs I linked here might be able to help there, though I don't think she's updated in a little while.Cara Miahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02427027038601201495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4918471929956183196.post-44516447477729701022013-02-06T08:31:50.346-05:002013-02-06T08:31:50.346-05:00The only question I really have about Dianic Wicca...The only question I really have about Dianic Wicca is whether or not they acknowledge that she had a daughter, Aradia, with a man (Lucifer)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
